About Me – Vikki from Chamilidots

Hi, I’m Vikki – a Traditional Chinese Acupuncturist, Weleda Holistic Esthetician and wellbeing advisor specialising in pain management, fertility, skin health and natural recovery.

I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture in 2013 and I’m a proud member of the British Acupuncture Council, the UK’s professional body that upholds the highest standards in clinical excellence, safety and development.

In 2024, I qualified as a Weleda Holistic Esthetician, after falling completely in love with their products – especially Arnica, which is a must-have if, like me, you love the gym!

My clinical practice blends Traditional Chinese Medicine with natural skincare and modern wellbeing tools. I regularly pursue postgraduate training in fertility support, facial acupuncture, women’s health and more – because your wellbeing deserves the best of ancient wisdom and modern science.

💛 Why I Do What I Do

I became an acupuncturist after experiencing its powerful effects first-hand.

Since my early teens, I’ve lived with osteoarthritis in my knees, causing joint pain, stiffness, and instability. I was prescribed strong painkillers, underwent surgery, and had to give up the things I loved — dancing, exercising, festivals, and even standing at gigs. Eventually, I was taking such high doses of medication that I felt like a zombie.

Despite my consultant encouraging me to build strength in my legs, the pain made movement nearly impossible.

That’s when I found acupuncture — and I’ll be honest, I was sceptical. But I gave it a try. Within weeks, I noticed a shift. Over time, the pain eased, my strength returned, and I got my life back.

Today, I’m mostly pain-free, back in the gym (lifting weights is my happy place!), and I’ve even completed a 10k obstacle race. I truly believe that without acupuncture, none of that would’ve been possible — and now I get to support others in their journey to healing too.

🏡 Life Outside the Clinic

I live on the beautiful Hawkesyard Estate near Rugeley with my husband Dave, our two amazing children, Indigo and Hendrix, Jack Russell X called Leah, and our Indian Star Tortoise, Bumpy (named after the Ankylosaurus in Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, of course!).

We’re a family of theme-park lovers and spend most weekends getting flipped upside-down on rollercoasters. When I’m not in clinic, you’ll find me paddleboarding, weight training, or just soaking up the simple joys of movement and nature.

Chamilidots was created to make Traditional Chinese Medicine feel approachable, beautiful and easy to use at home. As a registered acupuncturist, I saw time and time again how powerful tools like ear seeds, acupressure magnets and gentle therapies could be — not just in clinic, but as part of your daily wellbeing rituals.

It all started with ear seeds. I discovered them during my acupuncture training and wore them myself. I began using them in treatment's, and the feedback was incredible. So I thought: why not make them available for everyone?

That’s how Chamilidots was born.
